The suspect took cash and electronics from Kan’s cell phone store

RENO COUNTY – Law enforcement officers are investigating an armed robbery in Hutchinson and are asking for help identifying and locating a suspect.

Just before 5 p.m. Monday, police were dispatched to an armed robbery at Selectel Wireless, 1500 E 11th Avenue in Hutchinson, according to a police news release.

A man, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a dark face covering, sunglasses and a black backpack, entered the store, brandished a dark-colored handgun and demanded money and various electronic items from the clerk. About $900 cash was taken, along with several electronic items, including two sets of AirPods and a Bluetooth speaker.
