New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) Author-businessman Manoj V Jain uses snakes as a metaphor in his new book “The Book of Now” to portray various aspects of life’s journey.
He says that after his previous book “The Book of You as Told by a Hundred Ravens” he decided to take a break from writing.
“However, the snakes of the past, present and future stood up and said: You have written and painted the stories of the ravens, but what about our story? “And so began the story of the ‘now’, for the karma yogi who must act and live in this world while still embarking on his own journey,” says Jain.

Interspersed with art from the author and narrated by the serpents of the past, present and future, this book is based on living in the present and our subconscious or conscious dialogues with the universe as we walk towards our goals.
The book, published by Magnate Publishing House, can be read consecutively or open each page at random to hear the snakes’ message.
Each page features a QR code, giving readers access to additional insights and the opportunity to engage with the author.
All the paintings in the book were done by Jain. He says his artwork follows no rules and is often raw, undeveloped and raw.
Jain has paid a lot of attention to the design of the book. He has used a handwritten font that he says gives the feeling of a dialogue between him and the readers.
He also uses an irregular hole in the book’s cover to “symbolize the stories of the serpent and fit the message.” PTI ZMN RDS RDS
