SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KNWA/KFTA) – A Missouri man accused in federal court of helping his wife kidnap and murder a pregnant woman in Arkansas has changed his plea to guilty.
Jamie Waterman, 44, has been charged with participating in a kidnapping that resulted in death. He initially pleaded not guilty, but changed his testimony during Tuesday’s hearing.

Some – stated the indictment in October 2022, Jamie Waterman helped his wife Amber Waterman after she kidnapped Ashley Bush, knowing that his wife had committed a crime.
Jamie’s request changes a few hours later Amber Waterman was sentenced to two life sentences sentences without parole for involvement in kidnapping and subsequent murder.
The verdict in his case will be delivered on a date to be announced later. The attorney general said they would need 60 to 90 days to complete their investigation before issuing a verdict.
