Today it’s Cardi B, yesterday it was J-Lo.
Kamala Harris rolled out the celebrity endorsements in the final days of the campaign. At her rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the rapper and songwriter was one of the featured speakers and performers before the vice president took the stage.
Cardi B is a social media giant with over 250 million followers on her social media platforms. Her performance is unlikely to win over Trump’s Maga-hatted Republicans. But it will help galvanize Harris’ base and possibly encourage some fans who may not have thought about voting to make the effort.
What stood out was that Cardi B rehearsed many of Harris’ own talking points before taking the stage.
She read on her cell phone, pored over Donald Trump’s policies on abortion rights and said, “No, no. “I’m not taking any chances with my future…and (I’m) not taking any chances with the future of my life.” children”.
On the economy, the rapper said it “needs to get stronger” and added “that the cost of food and the cost of living is too high”,

Harris has recently started putting the economy at the top of her speeches, and tonight was no different.
“At the top of my list is lowering the cost of living for you, that will be my focus every day,” Harris said.
The cost of living is a major issue in this election, as households baulk at prices that have risen nearly 20% in four years.
In her final days, she’s making a pitch that she understands the economic pain of everyday Americans and has a plan to help. If America listens, we will find out soon.
