The number of students affected by the school’s deepfake sexual exploitation has increased by 18 in a week.
According to the Ministry of Education’s report on the damage caused by fake videos due to deepfake in schools, the number of affected students from January to November 1 this year was 883, an increase of 18 in a week.
The number of faculty members has also increased by one, and the total number of victims, including students and teachers, has risen to 920 so far.
This year, the cumulative number of deepfake damage reports increased by 10 within a week to 552, of which 467 requests for investigation and 247 links to takedown support were confirmed.
