Louis Vuitton men launches pre-collection spring/summer 2025

Pharrell does it again. The Louis Vuitton Pre-Collection Spring-Summer 2025 is inspired by the relationship between dogs and the people who care for them. The collection, catchyly titled ‘Dog-LVers’, highlights the emotional bond, daily activities and unique experiences of having a dog as a companion. It also highlights stylish dog walkers and show dogs, features paw prints on shoes and a unique rendition of the Damier print.

The leather goods are shaped like bones, dogs and paw prints in shades of brown and tan. The Shearling Footprint Low Boot now has a cheetah print instead of the classic Damier print. Of course, there are dog accessories such as leashes, collars and more, and an exclusive doghouse, of which only six were made worldwide.

Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2025 pre-collection is currently available at the house’s retail locations worldwide.

Chanel hosts a replica of the 2025 cruise collection runway show in Hong Kong

Chanel Cruise 2025 is the final collection for former creative director Virgine Viard, who announced her departure in June. Hong Kong set the stage for the grand event, welcoming more than 2,000 guests including Chanel ambassadors Penelope Cruz and G-Dragon, a replica of their cruise show initially unveiled in Marseille in May. The choice to feature Hong Kong again is because it is one of their largest markets outside their home city.

“We don’t have that many cities in the world where we have ten boutiques, except Paris. We have no other equivalent, so that shows how important the relationship with Hong Kong and the Hong Kong customer is,” said Bruno Pavlovsky, president of fashion at Chanel SAS tells WWD.

While the presidential election may have taken over the minds and timelines of all of us, many other important legislation and elections were also decided. This includes California, where they passed Proposition 36, which imposes harsher penalties for crimes like shoplifting, significantly impacting consumer-based retail sectors, reports Modern retail. The legislation passed with 70% in favor of the bill. In 2014, a law was passed that eased penalties for crimes such as shoplifting and drug possession. Hopefully this will deter shoplifting and reduce the spread of deadly drugs like fentanyl.
