LIMESTONE CO., Ala. (WAF) – Two men are wanted in Limestone County following a drug investigation, officials said Thursday.
According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, the Narcotics Unit executed several search warrants throughout Athens with the assistance of Limestone County SWAT, Madison County Narcotics Unit, Madison County Street Crimes Unit, Madison County SWAT and Athens PD HEAT.
Following the search warrants, deputies said 24 pounds of marijuana, a distribution quantity of methamphetamine, a simple quantity of crack/cocaine, an assortment of pills, 10 illegally possessed firearms and U.S. currency were all found and seized.
Officers say the suspects are not in custody and are currently on the run.
Arrest warrants exist for the two suspects, identified as Jarvis Cain, 45, of Athens and Terrias Cain, 40, of Athens.
Jarvis is wanted on the following charges: drug trafficking of marijuana, possession of a handgun by a violent felon and illegal possession of a controlled substance.
Terrias is wanted on the following charges: Drug Trafficking – Cocaine, 2 counts of Possession of a Handgun by Violent Felon, Illegal Possession of Marijuana 1, Illegal Possession of Marijuana 2, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance – Crack/Cocaine, Illegal Possession W/ Intent to Distribute- Methamphetamine.
