Inter-state thieves gang busted, 13 members arrested in Adoni in AP

The Adoni police have arrested an inter-state gang of 13 members and recovered property worth over ₹41 lakh from them. The recovered property included 478.7 grams of gold worth nearly ₹33 lakh and ₹41 lakh cash.

Kurnool Superintendent of Police G. Bindhu Madhav told reporters that the recovered properties belonged to 21 cases registered in different parts of Kurnool district. The gang was busted by police personnel who were monitoring property trespassers in Adoni town, as well as Nandyal and Nellore districts, for almost ten days.

Mr Bindhu Madhav said that the gang members have committed offenses in various parts of Kurnool, other important cities in AP and also at prominent pilgrimage sites such as Ayodhya, Varanasi, Haridwar and cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
