Chad Wolf: DHS Sec. Mayorkas has a duty to inform the public about threats to the homeland

Chad Wolf, former acting secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, responded Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is skipping the Senate Homeland Security Committee’s annual hearing on Thursday. “I understand there was some disagreement about whether that should be a closed, secret hearing or an open hearing. You could probably do both, right? But I certainly support transparency and making sure that the American people really understand the threats facing the homeland,” he said.
