Prince Harry and Meghan Markle experienced great humiliation shortly after learning about the purchase of a holiday home in Portugal.
In Buckingham Palace’s latest update, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now listed below Prince Andrew on the official royal website.
This update marks a huge moment of humiliation for the couple who have been placed at the bottom of the hierarchy, i.e. at the very bottom of the hierarchy.
On the “Role of the Royal Family” ranking page, King Charles tops the list, followed by Queen Camilla, then Kate Middleton and Prince William.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh then took 5th and 6th place respectively in the rankings.
It is worth adding that although Prince Andrew stepped down from royal duties a year before the Sussexes, he still has a separate section on the website, with Harry and wife Meghan not having their own separate sections, instead their biographies are combined into one on the site.
The Duke of York resigned from his job as a civil servant in 2019 following controversial links to late sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein.
Meanwhile, Reserve The author and Meghan stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2020.
This update comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have bought a house in Portugal.
