No one was hurt in the Ona house fire

SHE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – One person is safe after being rescued from a house fire in Cabell County.

The fire broke out just before 10.30pm on Monday at a house on Prichard Road.

Authorities say that when they arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames.

Emergency services helped the homeowner, who uses a wheelchair, get off the porch.

At the moment, the cause of the fire is unknown.

Family members who were at the scene say the house is a huge loss and has been in the family for over 40 years.

The Ona, Milton and Culloden Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the fire.
