Local municipal stakeholders clash with Kennett Square over funding for fire, rescue and emergency medical services: Part 2

Earlier this summer, McCarthy on behalf of the regional fire companies, consisting of Longwood Fire Co. in Kennett, Po-Mar-Lin in East Marlborough and Kennett Fire Co. of Kennett Square, asked the municipality to pay $868,882.77, an increase of $117,144.74 – in 2025; and $976,018.98 – an increase of $107,728.23 – for 2026.
