Russellville police searching for bank robbery suspect

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Russellville police are investigating after a bank was robbed Wednesday evening.

A police spokesman said a man entered a local bank at 4pm and threatened staff while demanding money. Officials said the man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived. Investigators said no one was injured in the incident.

Officers are working to keep games at Russellville High School safe after a recent threat

An RPD spokesperson said the location of the bank is not being released during this phase of the investigation and that police are actively investigating this incident.

Police are looking for a 40 to 60-year-old man in connection with the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the number Russellville Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 479-968-3232 or leave an anonymous tip at 479-967-2221.
