KANSAS CITY – Law enforcement officials continue to work to identify a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred on October 21 at the Hawthorn Bank, 17430 E. 39th Street in Independence, Missouri, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, verbally requested cash and brandished a firearm. The suspect fled the bank with an unknown amount of money on a blue sports bike
According to reports, the suspect is described as an older white male, approximately 6 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, short gray hair, black leather jacket with patches, dark pants, gray sneakers, dark head covering, blue surgical mask.
