GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – On October 26, the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) responded to a report of a possible robbery.
Before officers arrived at the Dairy Queen at 709 North Avenue, the suspect left in a red Jeep Cherokee. Authorities later discovered that a man had broken into the freezer, stolen items and confronted an employee with a knife.
At approximately 11:20 p.m., officers stopped a red Jeep Cherokee matching the description of the robbery vehicle in the area of North Avenue and 10th Street.
The suspect was arrested without further incident and no charges have been filed.
