Dorinda Medley explains the most luxurious details of Blue Stone Manor

Page Six recently toured Dorinda Medley’s iconic Blue Stone Manor estate fully decked out for Halloween.

But the “Real Housewives of New York City” alumnus’ affinity for interior design isn’t just reserved for the spooky seasons; she keeps it beautiful all year round – and oh so chic!

After driving from NYC to the Berkshires thanks to Tri-State Cadillac – who helped us, “Virtual Reali Tea” co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real arrive in style in their sleek LYRIQ electric vehicle – Medley, 59, took us inside the estate to highlight the most luxurious details.

First, she pointed out her custom Missoni rugs that make her grand staircase pop with color and texture.

“I just love it because it brings out all the colors of the house. And it’s a little modern, but it doesn’t conflict with anything else that’s going on in this house,” she said, referring to the blue, green and red tones in the zigzag pattern.

“I always say the house is a little bit of Marilyn Monroe, Frankenstein and old fashioned Gilded Ages,” Medley added, describing the eclectic aesthetic of her Massachusetts estate.

When the Bravolebrity walks down her stairs, she is greeted by a sentimental painting by famed artist Guy Stanley Philoche that was purchased by her beloved late husband, Richard Medley.

“(Richard) had a habit of going to school auctions and he was the one who always raised his hand and just bought stuff. It just drove me crazy!” she remembered.

‘And he bought this painting. It was donated to a Sacred Heart auction and he bought it… for about $10,000.

Years later, Dorinda met Philoche and discovered that Richard – who died in 2011 – was given the painting when it was valued at $10,000, but is now worth as much as six figures.

“He said, ‘Do you know that thing is actually worth $100,000?’ So I had to get it insured immediately,” Dorinda continued. “So that’s funny… I always think about that story and I always think about Richard when I come down the stairs in the morning.”

Another piece of art that brings back fond memories for Dorinda is an enchanting photo of Marmite, a nod to her time in London.

“I call this corner of Blue Stone Manor my ‘Living in London’ corner,” she said, referring to the painting of the British delicacy that hangs at the bottom of her stairs.

“I saw this piece 100 years ago in a gallery in London. When (my daughter) Hannah was little, she loved Marmite. And Marmite is such a cultural thing in London. You almost have to have grown up with Marmite to like it,” Dorinda – who lived in the British capital for ten years – reminisces.

The Bravolebrity admitted that she personally “could never get used” to the taste of the yeast-based spread, but still wanted to honor Hannah’s affection for it with the artwork.

“It seems like every kid in London – or in Britain – loves Marmite,” Dorinda explained. “So of course I had to buy this amazing Marmite painting. It’s such a great talking piece.”
