Drug Task Force makes two arrests and locates missing minor

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – The East Mississippi Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the 500 block of 56th Avenue on Friday.

Officers said a male juvenile who had previously been reported missing was found in the home. He was turned over to the Meridian Police Department.

LaShawn Boyd was also at the location. Officials said Boyd had four outstanding warrants for his arrest with MPD. He was also handed over to the police.

Charlene Evans was arrested for drug possession. She is charged with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a church and possession of hydrocodone with intent to distribute. His total bail was set at $140,000.
