Sweet ginger cat ‘helps’ mother with the laundry, making cat parents feel seen

Pets improve our lives in so many ways that it can be difficult to remember what life was like without them. They make the mundane infinitely more interesting and add a little comedy to every day. Even if you’re just doing things around the house, you’ll have a lot more fun with your furry friend by your side.

Kaleo’s mom will agree! This loving cat owner has three fur babies to keep things interesting around the house, but even she was surprised when Kaleo, an orange and white tabby, tried to “help” put away the laundry. If you ask me, he’s just having fun while his mom works around him, but the Nov. 3 TikTok video is priceless nonetheless.

OMG! This little acrobat practically jumped into the laundry basket and that set the tone for the rest of the chaotic interaction. Fortunately, his mother didn’t seem to mind at all. Her little helper kept things interesting as she unloaded clean clothes, which is more than most of us can say on laundry day.

Commenters like @delaksec loved Kaleo’s “aggressive spiders,” and it’s easy to see (or hear) why. He is one happy cat! The orange cat brothers Kona and Kaleo, or Lei Lei, are always up for some sweet pranks striped cat sister Kai prefers to laze around like the angel she is. It’s so fascinating to see how cats’ personalities shine in different ways, and these feline siblings are the perfect examples of that!

Cats naturally love to dig, so it’s no surprise that Kaleo is curious about the laundry basket. But do you know the best part? The laundry can even be warm! Everyone knows the comforting feeling of packing clothes straight out of the dryer, although I’m sure there are plenty indoor cats know this feeling too. It’s the best!

Orange cat behavior

While you might think that a cat’s coat color is unrelated to its behavior, cat owners and behaviorists both think differently. Dr. Dwight Alleyne explains: “There have been Studies have shown that these cats are generally the friendliestthe calmest and easiest to train based on owner feedback.”

The other running joke is that orange cats collectively share one brain cell. Maybe it’s their curious minds or their lack of inhibitions, but it’s hard to deny that these cats have a tendency to get themselves into random, awkward situations. Fortunately, their sweet nature and love for their people always make up for this the strange behavior of orange cats. Just look at Kaleo! He’s perfect just the way he is, even if sometimes he has no idea what he’s doing.
