WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – 10 p.m. Update: Wichita police said a total of three people were injured in a shooting near Hillside and Holyoke.
One person was taken to a hospital with gunshot wounds, two others were taken to hospital by ambulance in critical condition.
WPD said the shooting is believed to have been a drive-by involving a dark-colored car.
“A dark-colored vehicle was involved that apparently stopped next to them,” Lt. Doug Gerdes said. “And someone got out, shot at them and then left.”
Gerdes said police are still investigating the shooting and no arrests have been made.
Two people are in critical condition after a shooting in northeast Wichita Friday evening.
Confirmed Sedgwick County officers responded to reports of a shooting near 12th and Holyoke shortly after 7 p.m.
Two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
