Officers investigate after man was hit by car in front of Amazon Warehouse in Clay

An adult man is in critical condition after he was struck by a car in front of the Amazon Warehouse in the town of Clay, an Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.

Officers were called to Morgan Road on Saturday evening around 6.50pm. CNY Central learned the man was walking from the bus stop on the east side of the road and crossing the street when he was struck by a compact Ford car traveling south on Morgan Road.

The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital and is in critical condition. This is an active investigation.

Morgan Rd will be closed from the Liverpool Bypass to Steelway Blvd S until approximately 10:30 PM.
