Come strictly dance‘s Dianne Buswell shared a heartwarming post after rewatching the 2024 season launch show.
The professional dancer, who is working with Chris McCausland this year, shared a short clip from this year’s first episode with her Instagram accountin which she dances with the comedian.
In her caption, she praised Chris for the progress he has made in recent weeks, writing: “I watched the launch show on the way to work today and it made me smile with pride.

“Sometimes, when you work with the same person all the time, you forget how it started and how far they’ve come! So just a quick note of appreciation to my wonderful partner, you’re doing a great job!”
“You’re both amazing!!” said former contestant Gemma Atkinson, while fellow pro Carlos Gu wrote: “Sista you have no idea you changed so much of the show and took it to the next level with Us pro, you are a star! Xx”.
Dancer Amy Dowden, who recently withdrew from participating in this year’s show alongside JB Gill, also commented and wrote: “You are doing the most incredible work and both are a joy to watch! Love you xxx”.

Meanwhile, dancer Amy has spoken out about having to withdraw from competition due to a stress fracture from tibial insufficiency.
She explained that she was “absolutely gutted”. to no longer be able to participate in this series, but expressed the hope that she would be able to perform again in the group dances by the end of the current series.
Come strictly dance airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while it is a spin-off Strictly speaking: it takes two airs weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
