CLEMSON, S.C. – Kyla Bryant (Salsibury) scored 11 points for North Carolina Central in Thursday’s 91-33 loss to Clemson.
Bryant had three rebounds and three assists. Clemson led 45-11 at halftime.

BLUEFIELD, W.Va. — Icesis Nwafor scored 13 points on 6-of-7 shooting to help Bluefield State beat Clarion 66-65 on Saturday.
Hannah Wilkerson (North Rowan) had eight points and 10 rebounds for Clarion.

MISENHEIMER – Hannah Isley (Carson) scored eight points as Pfeiffer opened the season with a 66-56 home loss to Johnson & Wales.

GREENSBORO – Guilford opened the season Saturday with a 104-49 win over Meredith.
Carleigh Perry (Carson) had five points, four assists and seven steals for the Quakers.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Bethany Rymer (South Rowan) had a double-double on Tuesday.
She had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Columbia International in a 60-52 loss to Voorhees.

CHARLOTTE — D’Ajua Cuthbertson (West Rowan) has received significant minutes in Johnson & Wales’ first three games.
She had two points, two steals and two assists in the win over Pfeiffer.

WINSTON-SALEM — Juke Harris (Salisbury) scored eight points in Salisbury’s first two games.

WEST LIBERTY – Wheeling lost 107-83 to Bluefield State in a season opener on Friday, despite a big game from Wheeling’s Tee Harris (East Rowan).
Harris played 34 minutes and had 19 points, five rebounds and three blocks. He made three three-pointers.
