Police are searching for three thieves after the daylight robbery of a “large amount” of cash from a man as he walked to his car.
A spokesperson said a vehicle carrying three men stopped next to the victim as he walked to his own car on Jasmine Lane in George Town.
Two of the men, one brandishing a machete, got out and demanded a bag containing the money.
The two returned to their car and fled the scene. One appeared to be waving a gun as they drove away.
The incident happened on Friday around 3:45 p.m.
The police have called witnesses.
