Now that the results are in and former president Donald Trump has been re-elected, we wonder how you deal with the political division in your family.

Maybe you’re already changing your holiday plans because you don’t think you’ll be able to talk politics with them this year. You would rather have a nice little dinner at home than get into an argument.

Or perhaps they have only recently changed their minds, and you are still hopeful that by continuing to talk to them about your concerns you can change their minds. You’ve seen them have doubts about some things, so you think you might be able to get through it.

Or maybe your family has agreed to stop discussing their politics with you, but you’ve seen them posting some pretty intense things about the election on social media. Even if it’s not directed at you, it still stings to know that they see things so differently.
