Chelsea vs Arsenal: Confirmed team news, predicted line-up and injuries | Football

Mikel Arteta will be tempted to take away Martin Odegaard back in his starting eleven then Arsenal contract Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

After being sidelined for three months with a ‘significant’ ankle injury, the Gunners captain made his long-awaited return from the bench Tuesday evening in the Champions League against Inter Milan.

The midfielder is ready to play through the pain barrier but is still due to train this week and will undergo a late fitness test to determine if he can start.

And there are also problems for Kai Havertz and Mikel Merino. The Spaniard was taken off the field at half-time against Inter Havertz got going late after a clash of heads with Yann Bisseck, blood flowed from his head.
