Oregon men’s basketball is gaining votes in the AP poll after a 2-0 start

Oregon gained minimal ground in the AP poll after its 2-0 start to the season.

The Ducks are ranked this week with 14 points AP men’s basketball polltied for 37th after beating UC Riverside and Montana. That’s up from 12 points and 36th overall in the preseason poll.

The Big Ten still had four ranked teams with No. 13 Purdue, No. 16 Indiana, No. 21 Ohio State and No. 24 Rutgers and Illinois (26th), Michigan State (31st), Wisconsin (43rd), Maryland (46th). ) and Michigan (tied for 50th) also received votes.

Oregon hosts Portland on Tuesday (8 p.m., Big Ten Network) and Troy on Sunday (2 p.m., B1G+).
