Kroningsstraat has revealed baby plans for David and Shona Platt after a major betrayal.
Shona has no idea her husband has that secretly reading emails from the prison where her son Clayton Hibbs is locked up the murder of his late wife Kylie.
On Monday’s episode (November 11), Nick encouraged his brother to come clean about receiving a visitation order from the prison before Shona found out another way.
David decided not to follow his brother’s advice and chose to secretly visit Clayton in prison. The inmate was surprised to see David and not Shona during visiting hours.
An angry David chastised Clayton for only now admitting that he deeply regretted killing Kylie and was haunted by his evil actions.

David warned Clayton that he would not be forgiven for his murderous act, and went even further by claiming that Shona wanted nothing to do with him. He ordered Clayton never to contact them again.
By the time David returned to Weatherfield, he felt guilty for keeping such a hurtful secret from his partner.
He worked up the courage to tell Shona the truth, but was cut off before he could do it. Shona suggested that this was the perfect time for them to have a baby.
Shona took that into account the Platt house is soldit was only right that they found a place where they could raise their own family.

The couple will face traumatic events in the coming scenes when Shona learns from the police that Clayton has been hospitalized after trying to take his own life.
Speaking about the storyline, Julia Goulding recently said: “Jack (P Shepherd, who plays David) and I are very much on the side of our own characters in this. We’ve had barneys in the green room about who’s right.
‘If Shona finds out her husband set her up and played a part in Clayton trying to commit suicide, I can’t imagine what she’ll do. But I don’t think she’ll give up.
“There will be a lot of anger and pain, the possibility that they could destroy each other. There has already been a lot of change for David – his mother leaves, the house could be soldtension with the stolen money which Shona doesn’t know anything about yet, it’s like living in a washing machine!
“The sad thing is that they have been so solid for so long, Shona is David’s last pillar. But he destroyed it himself in my opinion. I’m really Team Shona on this!”
Kroningsstraat airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and continues to stream ITVX.
