Dave’s Hot Chicken is opening a new central Pa. restaurant

Dave’s Hot Chicken is spreading its wings in central Pa.

The chain confirmed it is bringing one of the restaurants to 1501 Quentin Road in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County, in the second quarter of 2025. It will take over a former MOD Pizza and become the third Dave’s Hot Chicken in the region.

One opened last year at 1189 Loucks Road in York, followed earlier this year by a location at 6040 Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township.

Dave’s Hot Chicken specializes in ‘Nashville Hot’ spicy chicken, including hot chicken tenders and sliders in seven spice levels ranging from ‘no spice’ to ‘Reaper’. The fast-casual brand also serves kale slaw, mac and cheese, crispy fries, cheese fries and milkshakes.

The chain was founded in 2017 in a pop-up in a West Hollywood parking lot by trained chef Dave Kopushyan and three friends. In 2019, the owners of Dave’s Hot struck a deal with Wetzel’s Pretzels co-founder and former CEO Bill Phelps and film producer John Davis to franchise the concept.

It now has more than 100 locations and is expanding to 700 restaurants nationwide.
