ANN ARBOR, MI – Further investigation has revealed that a group of University of Michigan students were threatened Sunday with a BB or airsoft gun, and not a firearm, police said.
According to Ann Arbor police, a group of University of Michigan students originally reported to police around 1:20 a.m. on Nov. 17 that four middle-aged men had approached them while they were sitting on the porch in the 600 block of Oxford Road.
The men who approached the students tried to start a fight, police said. One of the men displayed what was initially believed to be a handgun before fleeing the area, police said.
