The recently released and graphically stunning STALKER 2 has many gamers looking for good deals on parts right now, and if you’re in the market for a new GPU, then this STALKER 2 theme from MSI might be for you.
The STALKER 2 edition of MSI’s NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G GAMING SLIM card is $819.99 at the MSI Store for Black Friday – a cool $30 off the regular $849.99 MSRP for the GPU. MSI sent me a sample copy of this STALKER 2 RTX 4070 Ti SUPER earlier this month, ahead of the game’s recent launch on November 20, and since replacing my RTX 3070 with it, I’ve been very impressed with the massive performance improvements it’s brought to my PC gaming experience. It’s perfect for gaming at 1440p or ultrawide resolutions with extremely high triple-digit framerates and settings – ideal for my 34-inch ultrawide setup – but also has enough headroom to overcome the challenge of 4K gaming. It’s often neck and neck with AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XT in terms of raw performance, but while Team Red’s offering is slightly cheaper overall, Team Green’s is much better in terms of ray tracing and also has better looking upscaling and frame generation technology DLSS 3.
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is positioned as a replacement for the now-discontinued RTX 4070 Ti, offering horsepower that falls between those GPUs and the original RTX 4080s for the same MSRP of $799.99. Most partner-produced versions range between that price and $900; at $849.99 it’s in the middle of the spectrum, although this deal brings it down to $819.99.
In addition to the top performance, this RTX 4070 Ti SUPER also comes with the unique STALKER-themed design of the card itself, which you can check out above. Featuring an olive color scheme with black and yellow accents, a radiation symbol and STALKER 2 markings on one of the fan shrouds and the backplate, the GPU does an excellent job of evoking the overall style and visuals of GSC Game World’s popular FPS series . .
And yes, speaking of STALKER 2, let’s not forget that you get a free copy of the $79.99 Deluxe Edition when you buy this RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, along with a pre-order for the next $69.99 Indiana Jones and the Great Circle scheduled for release on December 9, 2024. STALKER 2 is very well rated (I gave it a 4/5 inch my own reviewwhere many of my criticisms have now been addressed in a new patch) And More than 1 million copies were sold within a few dayswhile Indiana Jones looks to be one of the best action/adventure titles of 2024. Both Xbox and PC exclusives are some of the biggest games of the year overall, while you can play them both Xbox Game Passthere’s a lot of value in owning games permanently and not having to stay subscribed to a service to access them.
Ultimately, you get a reasonably priced RTX 4070 Ti SUPER with a unique design and two free games with a combined value of $150 for only $819.99 on the MSI Storewhich is pretty awesome if you ask me. I know this isn’t the largest graphics card deal you can find this Black Friday, but it’s still a great deal, and I think many will agree that this is definitely the coolest.
Will tariffs increase prices for PC parts like graphics cards?
As we enter 2025, there is a chance that the US government will impose tariffs on foreign goods. This isn’t a “certainty” yet, but if it does happen, there’s a good chance the cost of PC components will skyrocket – and yes, that includes graphics cards. With that in mind, I’d say now is definitely the time to make upgrades if you need them, so keep an eye out for Black Friday deals like this.
When does Cyber Monday start?
Cyber Monday falls on the Monday immediately after Thanksgiving and Black Friday weekend, which means… this year it is on December 2, 2024. Cyber Monday is essentially an extension of Black Friday discounts, with many Black Friday sales lasting through Monday. Various retailers also introduce often new deals as soon as Cyber Monday starts, so make sure you check these out.
