President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the fourth most talked about person in 2024 as Nigerians dominate the ’30 Most Talked About Africans’.
The 2024 list is a definitive ranking that showcases individuals who have shaped conversations on social media and global platforms.
Tinubu and industrial magnate Dangote emerged as notable entries on the list, compiled using advanced social media tracking and Google Analytics by ‘The Social Chart’
18 Nigerians are on the list, which also includes former Labor Party presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election, Peter Ob; dethroned African Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen; and Nollywood stars Toyin Abraham and Sharon Ooja.
The annual list will be selected from January 1 to November 3, 2024.
Kenyan President William Ruto and Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido followed closely behind, taking second and third places respectively.
Other notable names included South African singer Tyla Seethal and Kenyan politician Raila Odinga.
