Cava restaurant worker robbed at gunpoint in downtown Boston

Boston police are investigating an armed robbery at a Cava restaurant in downtown Boston on Sunday evening, police said.

At 10:34 p.m., Boston police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in progress in Cava at 125 Summer St., according to Mark Marron, a spokesman for the Boston Police Department.

Upon arrival, the victim told officers he had been robbed at gunpoint while closing the restaurant and the suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, Marron said.

No arrests had been made as of Monday afternoon and the incident remains under investigation, he said.
