Holyoke’s new police chief will be sworn in on January 7

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – The Holyoke Police Department will swear in its new chief next week.

The oath of office ceremony for Brian Keenan, Holyoke’s new police chief, will take place next Tuesday, January 7, at 11 a.m. at Holyoke City Hall.

Father Mark Stelzer will deliver an opening prayer and will be followed by several speakers, including Holyoke Mayor Joshua Garcia, Senator John Velis and Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni.

The public is invited to attend.
