Suspects in an armed robbery at an Orange County gas station captured on video

Police in Santa Ana are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating three suspects involved in an armed robbery at a local gas station late last week, officials announced.

It is unclear exactly in which supermarket and at which gas station the robbery took place, but in a post on social mediaSanta Ana Police Department officials said the incident occurred on Nov. 14.

Surveillance footage shows two of the three suspects browsing the aisles of a supermarket before buying some items and leaving.

That’s when police say suspect number one approached a man sitting next to his girlfriend in his car while he was putting gas in his car, brandished a gun, pointed it at the victims and demanded their property.

Footage of the incident shows suspect number two approaching and taking the stolen items – two mobile phones and a wallet – from the shooter. According to police, the third suspect was standing nearby and acted as a lookout.

After the victims drove away, all three suspects fled in a dark-colored sedan.

Suspect number one is described as a heavyset Hispanic man in his late twenties to early thirties, approximately six feet tall, with a mustache and beard. He wore a backpack, prescription glasses and has a tattoo of the shape of California on his inner forearm and a cross on his left hand.

Suspect number two is described as a Hispanic man in his 20s with a thin build and approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants.

Suspect number three is also described as a Hispanic male who was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.
