The Mexican driver, who plays for Red Bull, will be in Sin City on Sunday in the run-up to the Vegas GP.

And him told reporters Friday that the smell of marijuana was “very noticeable” around the track.

“I’m already a bit tired of it – the amount is unbelievable,” he said. “It’s something all drivers will definitely talk about.”

“Yes, there was a smell of weed,” he said. “If they baptize the drivers now, I think we’ll all test positive, I swear.”

Last year the Vegas GP debuted, with Max Verstappen winning the first race.

Perez finished third behind Charles Leclerc.

Before the race on Saturday evening, Lewis Hamilton won both training sessions on Friday.

And while the race is expected to attract a host of celebrities, F1 analyst Karun Chandhok believes organizers should make one big change to the race.

The Vegas GP starts at 10pm local time in Nevada.
