Snoop Dogg on how Michael Bublé’s daughter made him ‘almost cry’

Snoop Dogg has a soft spot for the daughter of fellow “Voice” coach Michael Bublé.

The “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer’s 6-year-old daughter listens to Snoop’s “Afirmations Song” every day and it gives the beloved rapper all the feels.

“Man, I almost cried because I was making these records for my grandkids and for kids all over the world to have a piece of me that was G-rated,” Snoop said on Oct. 22 on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

“We started making these records to start creating visuals and start creating these characters and acting characters. And it just spread. These are people playing it for kids in primary schools all over the world.”

The “Gin and Juice” rapper, who became an Olympic icon thanks to the United States’ support at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, said he couldn’t even believe it when Bublé told him how much his daughter likes him and that his music resonates with children.

“Michael Bublé came on set and said, ‘Man, my daughter loves your music and listens to it every day,’” he said.

“I said, ‘You’re lying.’ And we actually sang it together. And it just touched me. It was so lovely that the music I was making was really reaching kids for the right reasons.”

Bublé, who has four children with his wife Luisana Lopilato, said himself that his daughter loves Snoop and that her kindergarten teacher plays “The Affirmations Song” every morning, noting that she made a video for the rapper that her dad showed him the first time they met with him. I met.

“He was so cute. This really touched him. She is a beautiful soul. She has a beautiful soul,” Bublé said last month on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

“And he said to me, ‘Mike, Mike.’ He asked, “You’re telling me in Vancouver that preschoolers listen to Uncle Snoop every day?” And I replied, “Yes.” And he was so cute. He said, “Oh, you know I did it for my grandchildren and it was very important to reach out to them in a positive way.” What a sweet cake.

Bublé said his daughter even met Snoop and their relationship continues.

“Sometimes he’ll call and, literally, it’s not about talking to me. It’s like, “Uncle Snoop is calling to say hello to the kids.”
