One of the most loved couples in Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor never fail to give their fans a few goals with their affectionate pictures and loving moments. It’s all about accepting each other’s imperfections, even though there’s no such thing as a flawless relationship. Mira seems to be following this strategy as well, as she previously admitted during a show that she finds some of Shahid’s behaviors annoying, including his belching habit.
During an appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Coffee With KaranMira was asked about Shahid’s most annoying behavior. She revealed that her biggest pet peeve is the actor’s tendency to burp.
Mira, who tied the knot with Kapoor at the age of 21, said she was the ‘bad cop’ in their house. She pointed out that she keeps her kids under control while Shahid spoils them with trendy items. She also felt that Shahid had evolved as a person over the years.
It’s very easy to spoil children, Mira said in an interview with Film Companion, adding that it really does take a village to raise a child, with grandparents, uncles and aunts all playing a role. She said it is an ongoing struggle to be a balanced mother.
When it comes to denying their requests, enforcing bedtimes, making sure they finish their homework, or teaching them the multiplication tables, she considers herself the strict one. Although she claims that children should not be treated to such luxuries, she admits that Shahid treats them to stylish shoes. By pointing out that Shahid wants his children to behave, which conflicts with his inclination to give them those shoes, she drew attention to the divergent strategies.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shahid will next be seen in ‘Deva’. Directed by Rosshan Andrews, the film also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead role. The release is scheduled for February 14, 2025 in theaters.
