Will Forte says a ghost once warned him that he would be stabbed to death at the age of 73.

The actor, 54, shared the story in the latest episode of Rachel Dratch“S”Wow Wowpodcast. He told Dratch, a guy Saturday evening live alum, that as a teenager he felt a supernatural presence while playing the Ouija board at the house of a girl he liked.

“I would ask questions to this ouija board that no one else would know the answers to, and it would get the answers correct. And so I was pretty blown away,” Forte recalls. “I thought, is there a way my hands can move it because I know the answer? … I tried not to impose it all, but it was pretty crazy – like my grandmother’s middle name, that kind of thing.

Forte, who had previously thought the Ouija was “so stupid,” said it would “take the ghost down and make him really angry.” I’m sure I told him he had a small penis or something.”

All humor aside, he said, “It really got a little scary.”

Forte summoned the courage to ask the board for details about his future death.

“I found out at the age of 73 that I was going to die from a stabbing,” he told Dratch. “I have 19 years left.”

Dratch called Forte’s Ouija experience “extreme” and expressed his disbelief. Although Forte also did not believe the prophecy, it still occurs to him “occasionally” that there might be some truth in it. For example, he said, “When I’m 72, when I get to the end, am I going to look at Kevlar, full-body Kevlar suits?”

While Dratch continued to play SNL From 1999 to 2006, Forte joined the show in 2002 and left in 2010. He was known for his MacGruber sketch and his “Ohhhhhhhh, Noooooooo!” man like his George W Bush And Lorne Michaels impressions. He next starred in the 2013 drama Nebraska and the Fox comedy series The last man on earthaired from 2015 to 2018.

Forte later reprized his most famous character in another TV comedy, MacGruberwhich debuted on Peacock in 2021. Earlier that year, Forte married a business development director Olivia Modling just months after they welcomed their daughter Zoe, who is now three. (They have since welcomed a second daughter named Cecilia.)

The couple quickly planned their wedding during the Covid pandemic.

“It was just a wonderful day,” Forte said told People then. “My parents were completely surprised. It was so stressful, the two weeks we planned. I can’t imagine having to think about wedding plans for another year or more.”
