A Burton man was arrested Wednesday for shoplifting.
The Brenham Police Department reports that Corporal Tina Bruno responded to the 2500 block of South Day Street on Wednesday afternoon at 4:15 p.m. in reference to shoplifting. Charles Ray Brandiberg, 57, of Burton, was arrested for theft of property between $100 and $750, with prior convictions. Brandiberg was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was arrested.
