Quinshon Judkins has confidence in the Buckeyes’ makeshift offensive line

Despite the loss of veteran center Seth McLaughlin, the guys carrying the ball are confident the five guys up front will pave the way.

“The mentality is to come in and step up,” running back Quinshon Judkins said. “I don’t have any fear that they won’t come to do their job or execute. I’m super proud of those guys, how hard they worked all week, and I think they’re ready to step up to go.”

Ryan Day said during his press conference on Wednesday that the plan is for Carson Hinzman to return to center and have Austin Siereveld start at left guard. The Buckeyes will be challenged to run the ball against Indiana’s top-ranked rush defense.

“Our team as a whole, everyone performed. Our coaches did a great job preparing us for the game this weekend. I think everyone did their job,” said Judkins, Ohio State’s leading rusher.

The Buckeyes welcome the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers at Shoe on Saturday. The kick-off is scheduled for 12 noon. The Bucks are calling on OSU fans to pack the stands and create a hostile environment in the team’s first top-five home game.
