RUTHERFORD COUNTY, NC (FOX Carolina) – Rutherfordton police are looking for a suspect with SC license plates after responding to a Saturday morning shooting that left one victim dead.
Officers report responding to Amendment 21 Pub and Grill on Main Street at 1:45 a.m. Saturday and located a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was airlifted to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he died.
The victim has not yet been identified by the coroner.
Officers say 36-year-old Ricky Tyrone Camp has been charged with first-degree murder and is believed to be “armed and dangerous.”
Camp is 6 feet tall, 270 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes and was seen driving a black 1999-2006 Chevy Tahoe with South Carolina license plates, police said.
